     I had the chance to learn and hone a number of crucial professional skills during my practicum at Thai Binh Duong University and the Naval Academy, which has greatly aided in my teaching career. The purpose of this essay is to consider these abilities as well as how these enlightening experiences have changed my behavior and perspectives.

     During my practicum at Thai Binh Duong University and the Naval Academy, one of the greatest skills I developed was my analytical and assessment skills through collaborative activities such as proofreading lesson plans and planning micro-teaching sessions with my MATESOL peers. Working in groups allowed me to gain insights into different teaching approaches and strategies for delivering constructive feedback to students. I learned valuable techniques for handling various classroom situations effectively, which ranged from addressing late arrivals to ensuring all students understood instructions. This hands-on experience was particularly insightful in refining my ability to assess student learning outcomes and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

     Improving my communication skills was pivotal during my practicum, as I interacted not only with peers but also with professors overseeing our training at Nha Trang University, Thai Binh Duong University, and the Naval Academy. Communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders involved articulating ideas clearly, active listening, and adapting communication styles to different audiences. This experience broadened my ability to collaborate with colleagues and build meaningful relationships within educational settings, enhancing my capacity to convey complex educational concepts with clarity and empathy.
