Lesson Plan Revision

Based on our observations, we revised our lesson plan to better suit the needs of the A2-B1 level students and to address the observed challenges.

2.3.1 Number of Activities

We streamlined the number of activities to ensure each had a clear purpose and ample time for completion. Reducing the number of tasks helped maintain the students' focus and reduced the potential for confusion.

2.3.2 Time Allotted for Each Activity

We carefully adjusted the time allocated for each activity to ensure a balanced pace. For instance, vocabulary teaching was kept concise (5-8 minutes), while more time was dedicated to the video and reading tasks to allow for thorough comprehension.

2.3.3 Language of Instructions

Simplifying the language of instructions was crucial. Clear and straightforward instructions helped the students understand the tasks without feeling overwhelmed.

2.3.4 Simplify the Activities

Activities were simplified to match the students' proficiency levels. For example, during the vocabulary session, we used more visual aids and concrete examples to illustrate meanings.
