Preparation

To prepare for the micro-teaching session, we had the chance to observe Ms. Thu Ha’s class at Thai Binh Duong university. In Ms. Thu Ha's A2-B1 level class, we noted several critical aspects of the classroom dynamics and students' learning behaviors. The primary focus of the lesson was on enhancing reading skills, which was evident from the structured sequence of activities designed to build vocabulary and comprehension. This experience provided valuable insights into classroom dynamics and student learning behaviors, which informed the subsequent revisions to our lesson plan and shaped our expectations before teaching.

In Ms. Thu Ha's A2 level class, we observed that the students were generally passive and did not respond actively when asked questions. This passivity presented a significant challenge in engaging them effectively during the lesson. Additionally, the students had a limited vocabulary knowledge typical of A2 level learners, which hindered their ability to participate fully in the activities. These observations were critical in understanding the students' needs and adjusting our teaching strategies accordingly.
